When we got married we were looking for wedding favours that guests could keep long after the cake had been devoured and the dress was packed into the loft!
We struggled to find something that was not only cost effective, bearing in mind we had over 250 guests! but also practical and wouldn't get left on the tables at the end of the night. We decided on baskets filled with retro sweets (who doesn't love sweets?!) and sandalwood fans tied with grosgrain ribbon which were a big hit for our summer wedding - even the men loved them!!
When we got back from our honeymoon we attended 3 consecutive weddings and all the brides I spoke to afterwards said they had experienced similar problems in finding suitable reasonably priced favours.
That's when the idea came to me to start my own wedding favour business. It helps that I can't get enough of weddings. Of course I'm over the moon to be a "Mrs" but I do miss the days of planning and fawning over magazines and all the beautiful designs and images.
Luckily I get to work with brides who of course are passionate about their upcoming nuptials and wedding plans and I am fortunate to be involved in helping them create a little something special they can share with their guests.
Favours are such a small part of the wedding tapestry but are a perfect way to say THANK YOU! to your guests - after all they've probably spent a pretty penny on your big day and it's your chance to show how much you appreciate it.
